Courage vs. Comfort

These do not often coexist. Taking the road less traveled is usually uncomfortable and scary – it’s not so romantic when you’re actually out there on the limb or in the arena getting beat up.

The hero and the coward feel the same thing. The hero focuses their fear to confront the challenge. The coward runs away from their fear.

It can be a helpful question to ask in a daily self-review, or even in a team review. Hey everyone here’s an odd question but I’m really curious to know: When were we feeling threatened, or uncomfortable? What did we do in those moments? Did we shy away or did we stay engaged?
